The Brazilian hospital should have the first training centre in the area in Latin America. The institution is a pioneer in the use of the Da Vinci robot, operated by the surgeon from a distance, and the intention is to train 450 professionals by the end of the year.

The Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation and Basf are working to place the seeds, which should generate plants resistant to imidazolinone herbicides and promise to end the Monsanto dominion in the area.
