The Moroccan government and the World Water Council promote the King Hassan II Great World Water Prize. With a USD 500,000 prize pool, it will reward individuals and institutions working to preserve water resources. The application deadline was extended until December 15.

The event will be held in Fujairah in December on the theme “Sustainable Agriculture and Green Logistics,” organized by the emirate’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Arab-Brazilian Chamber.

The Brazilian institution established 15 years ago works for conservating the forest, reducing poverty and including the Amazonian people in the region’s development. Other two organizations are finalists in the Climate Action category. The winner will be announced at the COP28 in Dubai.
