São Paulo – In the month of April, China became the second main Brazilian supplier of shoes, overtaking Argentina. This information was published in magazine Revista Passarela. In April, Brazilian purchases of Chinese shoes grew 79%, when compared to the same month in 2005, and reached US$ 617 million. China answered to 9.2% of the total of shoes imported by Brazil, whereas Argentina was responsible for 8.8%.
