São Paulo – The tourism training company Brazil Online Training (BOT) is launching the first course on Egypt for Brazilian industry professionals. The online course provides knowledge on the North African country.
Students will learn basic facts about the country, including visa requirements and the obligatory yellow fever vaccination. The course also covers Egyptian pound bills and coins, the best times of year to visit the country, and the languages spoken there. The official language is Arabic, but English and French are spoken as well.
Course topics include the main tourist destinations, like the capital, Cairo, the city of Luxor, the Red Sea, archaeological sites and a bit of history.
In a press statement, the director of the Egypt Tourism Authority to the United States, Canada and Latin America, Gawaher Ali, said Brazil is crucial to the Arab country. “We regard Brazil as a strategic market within Latin America and believe online training is a key tool for reaching travel agents and tour operators across the country. We hope that Brazilians will be looking forward to experiencing Egypt with their arms wide open!,” press statement from BOT quoted Ali as saying.
The director of companies Bossa Brazil and BOT, Glauco Chris Fuzinatto said the course will train industry professionals to “loyalize” customers and help attract new tourists to Egypt. On completing the course, students will receive “Egypt specialist” certificates.
