São Paulo – Cia. Cabelo de Maria will perform the concert “Cantos de Trabalho” (Work songs, in a literal translation) Tuesday (1) afternoon at Sesc Vila Mariana, featuring the group Al Tananir (The skirts, in Arabic). In their setlist, there are Palestinian, Syrian, Iranian and Brazilian songs, all of them work songs, nursery rhymes, lullabies and celebration songs from the women’s universe.
The group is formed by Syrian Yara Osman, in the electric piano, the Syrian singer from a Palestinian family Oula Al-Saghir, the Iranian singer Mah Mooni, and Brazilians Renata Mattar (vocal), Talita Del Collado (accordion and vocal), Nina Blauth (percussion, flute and vocal), Rafaela Nepomuceno (percussion and vocal), Micaela Nassif (violin), Gustavo Finkler (acoustic guitar) and Mateus Mapa (bass).
