Brasília – Brazilian business owners are still confident regarding the national economy and their own businesses, the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) said this Thursday (22). Still, the Industrial Business Owner Confidence Index (Icei) was down slightly in February from January this year, from 59 to 58.8 points.
The numbers show that confidence reached its second highest level since April 2011. The index ranges from 0 to 100, with scores higher than 50 indicating confidence. Large-sized companies displayed the most confidence.
