São Paulo – Representatives from 18 countries are discussing digital mapping of soils in a workshop in Rio de Janeiro. The meeting started yesterday (04) and follows up until Friday (07). It is organised by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) for Soils, the International Union for Soil Sciences and the Brazilian Society of Soil Science.
The workshop counts on the participation of many professors and doctors in the field of soil and environmental sciences. As well as discussing the theme, the participants will take a field trip to the mountain and coastal perimeters of the city of Rio de Janeiro. The information is from the Embrapa.
