Corn produced in Brazil becomes export product
Overseas sales of the commodity went from 929,000 tons in the first five months of 2003 to 2.7 million this year. Volume is three times larger. This result was stimulated by the low product quote. From January to May of this year, Brazil has already sold 77% of the total amount traded on the international market in the whole of 2003.
