São Paulo – Shopping center Praça da Moça, in the city of Diadema, is hosting the art show “Mysteries of Ancient Egypt and the Holy Land,” up until April 13th. The show features 130 items, including 70 originals and 60 replicas, and the programming includes lectures on Saturdays and Sundays, at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
The original items on display include statues of gods and a coin of the Roman emperor Caesar II. The replicas include a mortuary mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, a bust of Queen Nefertiti and four mummies.
The full ticket costs R$ 12 and the half price is R$ 6. Tickets are nominal and non-transferrable and last until the exhibit closes, i.e. visitors only pay on the first visit, but can visit the event as many times as they like.
