São Paulo – United Arab Emirates’ Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum partially resumed operations on Monday (2) night. According to information from Dubai Airports reported by state news agency WAM, a limited resumption of operations was set to begin that evening.
On its website, Dubai-based airline Emirates confirms it will resume flights but asks customers not to go to the airport unless they have been notified by the airline. “We will prioritize customers with affected bookings, and those whose reservations have been rebooked onto these limited flights will be contacted directly by Emirates,” the company said in a statement.
Abu Dhabi Airports, which manages the terminals in the UAE capital, also announced it will partially resume operations at Zayed International Airport. The company advised passengers to check with their airlines for flight updates before heading to the airport.
