São Paulo – Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, welcomed over 1,000 tourism industry professionals and conference organizers from Europe, Latin America and the Middle East during the final quarter of the year, via trips organized by the Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM), Emirates News Agency (WAM) has reported.
Delegations from Brazil, China, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Egypt, Spain, France, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Romania, and Turkey witnessed the leisure options available to tourists in the emirate, including the Dubai Opera, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and Dubai Parks and Resorts.
According to DCTCM CEO Issam Kazim, it was a positive year for promotion of local tourist attractions. “The familiarization trips represent a fantastic opportunity for delegates to experience our new leisure and family attractions for the first time, while witnessing how they’re contributing to the wider business environment,” he told WAM.
