São Paulo – The Dubai Sports Council launched last week the Sports Destinations Map with the tourist points in the emirate for the practice of running, walks, cycling, fishing and other activities. Apart from recommendations by locals, the map also counts on telephone numbers to these sites, their web pages and bus and subway routes to the sites.
According to a press release by the Dubai Sports Council, the Sports Destinations Map of the emirate is the first in the world. Apart from bringing the points for sports practice, it also includes beaches, shopping centres and other prominent places in the city, like the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, and Burj Al Arab, the luxury hotel that is a postcard of Dubai.
The print version of the map will be available for sale in coming weeks. The electronic version, in turn, will be made available in coming months.
