São Paulo – The 18th edition of Arabian Travel Market will take place from May 2 to 5 in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. The event will feature over 2,000 exhibitors from the five continents.
The fair is targeted at tourism industry executives and will include 24 seminars on matters such as tourism in the Middle East, new concepts for hotels in the Arab world, the advantages of sustainability in tourism, the importance of social media to the industry, luxury tourism, among other issues.
The event’s closing day will include a "Consumer’s Day," in which the public will be able to visit the fair and run for prizes ranging from iPads to stays at luxury hotels in the Arab countries. On "Travel Agent’s Day," also on May 5, local agents will meet with exhibitors to review new business possibilities.
This year, exhibitors will include companies such as airlines Emirates and Oman Air; hotel groups Rotana and Jumeirah; tour operator Arabian Adventures; The Mexican Tourism Board; cruise companies Royal Caribbean International and MSC Cruises; among other names of global tourism. The last edition of the event counted on over 22,000 visitors.
