Brasília – The Economic Activity Index (IBC-Br) released this Monday (17) by the Brazilian Central Bank was up 1.31% in February from January. The seasonally adjusted index was up 0.52%.
In February from February 2016, the non-adjusted index slid by 0.73%, whereas the seasonally adjusted IBC-Br increased by 0.48%.
In the 12 months through February, non-seasonally adjusted economic activity was down 3.56% in Brazil. Seasonally adjusted activity was down 3.68%.
