Porto (Portugal) – President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva stated today (13), in a meeting with Brazilian and Portuguese businessmen, that the perspectives for economic relations between Brazil and Portugal have never as favourable as now.
To convince the Portuguese of investing in Brazil Lula mentioned some advances that have happened in the last few years such as the tax reform, the new Brazilian Bankruptcy Law, the public private partnerships and the drop in inflation.
Portugal is the seventh greatest investor in Brazil. "This is concrete proof that our relations are beyond the phase of nicely phrased speeches," said Lula.
