São Paulo – Last Monday (25) congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro (PSL-SP) met with ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The lunch meeting took place at the residence of Kuwait’s ambassador to Brasília, Nasser Almotairi to talk about his visit to Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman next December.
According to information from the congressman’s office, he’ll travel to these Arab countries from December 7 to 14. But the dates of Eduardo’s visit to each of them are still to be defined.
The goal of the travel of the congressman, who presides over the Chamber of Deputies’ Foreign Relations and National Defense Commission, is drawing investment and addressing foreign trade issues. According to information from the embassy of Kuwait in Brasília, discussions revolved around bilateral relations and ways to improve them in the economic-commercial and investment fields, as well as other mutually interesting matters.
Besides Eduardo Bolsonaro and ambassador Almotairi, the meeting featured ambassador of Qatar, Ahmed Ibrahim Abdulla Al Abdulla; ambassador of Oman, Amad Hamood Al Abri; chargé d’affaires of Bahrain, Bader Al Hulaibi; chargé d’affaires of UAE Saeed Alshehhi; secretary of bilateral negotiations in the Middle East, Europe and Africa of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Kenneth Félix da Nóbrega; and director of the MRE department for the Middle East, Sidney Leon Romeiro.
