São Paulo – Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer delivered 11 commercial and 11 business aircraft in the first quarter this year, according to information the company released this Wednesday (15). The company’s firm order backlog was USD 16 billion.
Embraer saw a net loss of BRL 160.8 million (USD 40.3 million) and ended the first quarter with a BRL 4.3 billion (USD 1.1 billion) debt. Last February, the company shareholders approved the proposal for a strategic partnership between Embraer and Boeing. However, this deal is still subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions.
