São Paulo – Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer delivered 44 planes in Q3 this year, the company reported this Thursday (31). Out of them 17 were commercial and 27 were business jets.
In Q3, Embraer signed a USD 340 million contract with American company SkyWest for a firm order of seven jets. One jet was also delivered to AerCap, the world’s largest aircraft leasing company, another to Azul Brazilian Airlines, and other deals.
The E195-E2 jet (pictured above), one of Embraer’s deliveries, is the largest model ever built in Brazil. The company ended Q3 2019 on September 30 with a firm order backlog of USD 16.2 billion.
