São Paulo – Embraer disclosed yesterday (8) that it has completed a flight from Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, to London, in England, non-stop, with its Legacy 650 executive jet, the larger model of the Legacy 600. According to the company, this shows that the aircraft has capacity to operate in long routes.
According to the company, 6,482 kilometres were covered in eight hours. The aircraft had seven passengers and three crew members. "This flight proves that the executive jet has a capacity to service customers in the Middle East," said Colin Steven, the aircraft maker’s marketing and sales director for Europe, Africa and the Middle East, according to an Embraer press statement.
The Legacy 650 was launched last year and has autonomy for over 7,000 kilometres with eight passengers, but it may transport up to 13 people, according to the organisation. The list price is US$ 29.5 million.
