Embraer, in a phase of expansion, commemorates 35 years
The Brazilian company, among the main producers of commercial aircraft in the world, was established on August 19, 1969 as part of the government strategy of adopting aeronautics technology in the country. Privatised in 1994, the company had the best quarterly result in its history, in the second quarter of this year, and has just won a multi million dollar tender for the US army, within a consortium led by Lockheed Martin.
