São Paulo – The Brazilian aircraft manufacturing company Embraer has announced once again this Wednesday (3rd) that it will attend Aviation Expo (Avex), in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh, for the fourth time. The fair will take place from November 7th to 10th and the Brazilian company, according to a statement issued by its press office, is going to showcase its small-sized business jet Phenom 300 in the region for the first time.
The enterprise should also exhibit its Embraer 190 commercial aircraft painted the colours of Bahraini airline Gulf Air. Two aircraft of the type joined the Arab airline’s fleet last week.
At the Egyptian fair, Embraer intends to promote its entire line of business and commercial jets, as well as the services it offers its clients.
Avex is held every two years and Embraer is one of its sponsors. The Brazilian company has a history of doing business with Egypt. Presently, EgyptAir operates Embraer 170 model passenger jets. In the 1980, Embraer even assembled Tucano series military aircraft in the country.
The Brazilian company has been making frequent sales of commercial and business aircraft to the Middle East and North Africa. In addition to Egypt and Bahrain, Embraer has done business with enterprises based in Libya, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Lebanon.
