São Paulo – Embraer is going to supply four jets Embraer 170 to Hong Kong Express Airways (HKE), company which has just recently entered the market. According to what the Brazilian company disclosed today (03), three aircrafts, with 76 seats each, will be delivered in the second semester of 2005, and the fourth in the first half of 2006.
According to Embraer, the aircrafts will be leased from General Electric Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). With the contract, HKE will become the Embraer 170 launching client in Asia. According to Andrew Tse, president at HKE, the company will invest more than US$ 100 million in the business.
