São Paulo – Emirates Airlines will hold recruitment roadshows at the Renaissance Hotel in São Paulo for captains and first officers of wide-body Airbus aircraft for its A380 and A350 fleets – the latter will begin to be operated by the company next year. On Wednesday (8), the recruitment open days will occur at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. On Thursday (9), it will be at 10am.
According to information released by the Dubai-based company, over these two days, the Emirati flag carrier airline will present to candidates the stages of the recruitment process, what the routine of a company pilot is like, and what salaries and benefits are offered. Among the selection requirements are having at least 3,000 hours in command of wide-body Airbus fly-by-wire aircraft, such as A330, A340, A350, and A380. Candidates must also have at least 7,000 hours of flight experience in multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft. Currently, the company has employees of 160 nationalities, of which there are 808 Brazilian cabin crew and 143 Brazilian captains and first officers.
