São Paulo –Etihad Airways, airline company from Abu Dhabi, will broadcast all World Cup matches on their long distant flights. Passengers who fly first, business or even economy classes may watch the matches live. Information was released by Emirates News Agency – Wam.
The matches broadcast started on Thursday (12th), with Brazil vs. Croatia. All of the remaining 63 matches may also be watched by Etihad’s passengers through their interactive inflight entertainment system.
According to the Wam, Etihad said flights to São Paulo are having a high demand from British, Dutch and Belgian expatriates who live in the Emirates or in countries where the flight has layovers, as they are coming to Brazil to watch their teams play.
