São Paulo – The European Union’s head of diplomacy, Frederica Mogherini, announced this Monday (20th), in Brussels, the increase of the olive oil quota that Tunisia can export to the bloc, according to information from news agency Tunis Afrique Presse (TAP).
The annual volume that the Arab country can sell to the EU will be exceptionally increased in up to 25,000 tons, according to TAP. The quota established by the association agreement in place between the country and the bloc stands at 56,700 annual tons, according to the European Union’s website.
Next to Tunisia’s prime minister, Habib Essid, Mogherini said that the EU is committed to help Tunisia in the areas of security, tourism and agriculture.
