São Paulo – Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, will seat the event, from November 12 to 14, at the Global Agenda Summit, an event that aims to bring together approximately 900 people, members of the civil society, governments, businessmen and members of the academia. The meeting is organized by the World Economic Forum and the results will be included in the programme at the organisation’s next annual meeting, in 2013, in Davos, Switzerland.
The main theme under discussion in Dubai is implementation of new strategies for sustainable development through social inclusion, innovation and governance in a “hyper-connected” era.
According to a communiqué of the World Economic Forum, the meeting will include workshops and talks to show the participants the transformations the business environment, society and economy are undergoing.
The proposal is that, on comprehending this new reality, company leaders, civil organisations and academia may develop environmentally responsible and socially inclusive projects.
