Brasília – The sum of dollar inflow and outflow in Brazil remained positive by US$ 596 million up until the 24th this month. The figures were disclosed today (29th) by the Bank of Brazil.
The flow of finance (investment in bonds, remittance of earnings and dividends to foreign countries, and foreign direct investment, among other operations) is negative by US$ 790 million and the flow of trade (exports, imports and financing of foreign trade) is positive by US$ 1.386 billion.
From January until April 24th, the exchange flow is running a deficit of US$ 2.378 billion, as against a US$ 13.837 billion surplus recorded during the same period of last year. In the accumulated result for the year so far, the flow of finance is running a deficit of US$ 10.271 billion, and the flow of trade recorded a surplus of US$ 7.893 billion.
