São Paulo – Until November 15, the Itamaraty Palace in Brasília presents the exhibition Brazil 200 years — Pathways of Brazilian Diplomacy in honor of the country’s Bicentennial of Independence.
Through 54 panels measuring 4.4 sqm, as well as photos of rare documents, including old maps and publications from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ collection in Rio de Janeiro, the exhibition tells the history of the country through diplomacy during 200 years since the proclamation of the Independence by Dom Pedro I.
Held by the Alexandre Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, another highlight of the exhibition are previously unseen images of key moments and characters of this story.
