São Paulo – An explosion hit the Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday (7) evening in Dubai. The emirate’s official media agency reported that a fire broke out in a container within a commercial vessel docked in the Jebel Ali Port.
According to information from the authorities, the explosion was heard and felt in the surroundings, but no injuries have been reported. The container held flammable material. A Dubai Civil Defense team worked on containing the flames, and the fire was brought under control, Saudi newspaper Arab News reported in its website.
