São Paulo – Tickets for Expo 2020 Dubai are now on sale, with several options available for visitors of the world’s fair to take place from October 2021 to April 2022. According to the event’s website, the season pass allows unlimited entry during the six months of the Expo and costs AED 495 (about USD 135 at the current rate). The multi-day pass allows access for 30 consecutive days at AED 195 (USD 53), and one-day tickets cost AED 95 (USD 26). Mastercard cardholders have a 25% discount on the ticket price.
Family packages are available for AED 950 (USD 258), offering unlimited access for two parents and a babysitter. Other benefits include discounts on food and beverages, a 25% discount on five additional tickets, and an advance purchase of an AED 125 (USD 34) photo voucher.
Children and teenagers under 18 and students holding valid student cards from any academic institution in the world will be admitted free of charge. Visitors aged 60 and older can also enter for free.
Free tickets are also available for people with disabilities. Companions have a 50% discount on the ticket price.
Tickets can be purchased on the Expo’s official website and through over 2,500 authorized retailers, including online travel agencies, tour operators, hotel groups, and airlines from over 100 countries.
The Expo’s opening ceremony takes place on September 30 at Al Wasl Plaza, which has the largest 360º projection surface in the world.
In total, the event will have over 200 food options and plans to hold up to 60 live events per day, including concerts, movies, poetry readings, artistic manifestations, cultural tours, parades, and interactive trips.
Expo 2020 Dubai aims to attract over 25 million visitors in the six months of activity.
