Export from Brazil to the Arab countries grew over 60% in first four months of 2004
In all, export revenues to the region have totalled US$ 1.136 billion this year. The largest increases were observed in sales to Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Tunisia, and Libya. In the agricultural sector, 76.8% growth in sales to Africa was fuelled by business with the Arabs.
