Exports from state of Rio grew 19% this year
Foreign sales from the state yielded US$ 7.1 billion in the first seven months of 2007. Nevertheless, a 1.5% decrease was recorded in July, when revenues stood at US$ 1.2 billion. The main product shipped was oil, which accounted for 58% of the export basket.
