Rio de Janeiro – Brazil’s Producer Price Index (Índice de Preços ao Produtor – IPP), which tracks the cost of processed goods out of the factory gate, reached 0.47% in September of this year. The inflation came after July and August both saw prices drop. Numbers made public this Wednesday (26) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) show the IPP is down 0.46% to date this year and up 0.52% in the 12 months through September.
