São Paulo – Dubai will be the stage for presentations from Arab and world tourist destinations between April 25 and 28. The emirate will host the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), a tourism fair that will showcase more than 2,800 products of the sector and destinations in 87 countries.
This will be the 23rd edition of the fair. According to the organization, 26,000 buyers and tourism professionals, from 15 countries, are expected to attend the four days of the event at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
In last year’s edition, the Arabian Travel Market registered a 15% increase in attendance and a 5% increase in the number of exhibitors. Overall, it generated USD 2.5 billion in business, according to information from the fair’s website.
The exhibition’s central topic for this year is mid-market travel. The goal is to showcase the opportunities in this segment in the Middle East and to increase the region’s capacity to attract more visitors. Last year, the topic was family travel. The mid-market travel will be at the center of debates and lectures of ATM.
The fair is organized by Reed Travel Exhibitions, the world’s largest organizer of tourism events. The company also organizes World Travel Market fairs throughout the world, in places such as London, England, São Paulo, Brazil, and Cape Town, South Africa.
