São Paulo – The 13th edition of the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference, traditional fair in the petroleum and natural gas sector in Latin America, starts on Monday (11) and follows through until Thursday (14) in the Barra da Tijuca neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro, city in Southeast Brazil. On the 12th and 13th this month, about 200 suppliers will negotiate directly their products and services with great players in the oil and gas market, amongst them Petrobras, Shell, Halliburton and El Paso, according to information from the Sebrae News Agency.
The business roundtables are organized by the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae) and the National Organization of the Petroleum Industry (Onip), with support from the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum and Gas (IBP). The expectation is that about US$ 14 million will be negotiated in more than 800 items (goods and services), from electrical materials, mechanical tools and valves to supplies in IT, furniture, paints, gifts and individual protection equipments.
