São Paulo – The capital of Tunisia, Tunis, is hosting the 28th Regional Conference of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on Africa from March 24th to 28th this year. The event opens with technical meetings from the 24th to the 26th, followed by a ministerial meeting on the 27th and 28th, at Hotel Le Palace.
The topics of discussion will include the participation of African youths in agribusiness and rural development. Africa has the youngest population profile in the world, with 65% of its people under 35, as per the conference’s website. The African Union Conference of Heads of State and Government has declared this the decade of youth development in Africa.
