São Paulo – Brazilian footwear will be promoted to importers on the United States’ digital platform Joor. The inclusion of the Brazilian product on the B2B global platform is an initiative by the Brazilian Footwear Industries Association (Abicalçados) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) to encourage exports in the digital world, a growing trend during the pandemic.
The action runs from January to June 2021 via Brazilian Footwear, an export promotion program carried out by Abicalçados and Apex-Brazil. Joor is connected to over 200,000 foreign buyers from 144 countries; 40% of them are Americans. The interested brands have until January 8, 2021 to register.
The brands will be promoted on BrazilianFootwear.com and will be sold directly on Joor. Created in 2015, the platform BrazilianFootwear.com is a networking space, but it doesn’t offer direct sales. The idea is leveraging the business of the brand via Joor. Interested companies must contact by email: ruisa@abicalcados.com.br.
