Foreign tourists spend US$ 4.4 billion in Brazil
The figures were supplied by the Brazilian Central Bank and show growth of 19.81% in tourist spending in the country compared with the same period of 2006. By the end of the year, the value should rise to US$ 5 billion, resulting in a 15% increase over last year.
