Foreign tourists spent record value in Brazil in 2005
According to information from the Brazilian Central Bank, the total reached US$ 3.861 billion, an increase in almost 20% in comparison to 2004. Brazilians spent even more abroad, US$ 4.72 billion. The arrivals in international flights reached more than 6.7 million, also a record figure.
