Dubai – The ruler of Fujairah, Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, received ambassador Osmar Chohfi, president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC), and his accompanying delegation on Sunday (17) at Al Rumaila. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation ties between the emirate and ABCC, and Chohfi invited the emir to participate in the Economic Forum Brazil-Arab Countries to take place in São Paulo next year.
The meeting was attended by Fernando Igreja, Brazilian ambassador to the United Arab Emirates; Tamer Mansour, secretary-general of ABCC; Shaheen Al Shaheen, ABCC regional advisor to the Arab countries; Rafael Solimeo, head of the ABCC international office in Dubai; and Fernanda Baltazar, International Relations manager of ABCC; and other officials of the emirate of Fujairah.
Then Chohfi, Mansour and Shaheen visited Fujairah Chamber of Commerce, where they were welcome by president Saeed Sorour Saif Sorour Al Sharqi and director-general Sultan Jemei Al Hindasi. They discussed more cooperation activities between the chambers, signing of agreements, the participation of a Brazilian mission to Fujairah during Gulfood in February 2022 and a mission from Fujairah to Brazil during the Economic Forum Brazil-Arab Countries. The Arab Brazilian Chamber delegation is in the UAE for the world exhibition Expo 2020 Dubai.
