São Paulo – Oil and gas output averaged 3.3 million boed in June in Brazil, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) said this Thursday (2).
Natural gas production climbed 2.7% in June from May and 3.4% year-on-year in June, to 115 million cubic meters per day. Oil production reached 2.590 million bopd, down 0.7% month-on-month and 3.2% year-on-year.
Total production in June came from 308 areas under concession, one under lease and one production-sharing area – including 77 offshore and 233 onshore ones – operated by 33 different companies.
