Brasília – Forecasts from Brazilian financial market players regarding the economy this year and the next have shrunken once again, as per the Focus Bulletin released this Monday (8) by the Central Bank.
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth has been scaled down for the sixth week on end, to 1.97% from 1.98% as of last week.
The 2020 forecast moved from 2.75% to 2.70%, in the third straight downward revision. Projections for 2021 and 2022 both remained flat at 2.5%.
