São Paulo – The Federal Government of Brazil should announce on Wednesday (27) a new package of measures to stimulate the Brazilian economy, said on Tuesday (26) the minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Fernando Pimentel. He did not inform what areas will be benefitted, but said that investment will be priority.
“We have already done much to expand consumption. We improved credit, [made] important reductions in tax on durable goods and, now, we are focussing much on investment,” said Pimentel, at the opening of the 5th Brazilian Research Congress, promoted by the Brazilian Research Company Association.
