Brasília – The federal government released this Tuesday (13) the list of the first projects that will be auctioned off to the private sector via the program Crescer (Grow). It includes the operating licenses for airports in the cities of Porto Alegre, Salvador, Florianópolis and Fortaleza, with the public notice issued in Q4 of this year and the auction set to Q1 of 2017. The public notice for the concessions of the fuel terminal in Santarém (PA) and the wheat terminal in Rio de Janeiro is expected for this year also.
For next year, the government is planning the public notice of five highway routes, including the BRs 264 and 365, between Goiás and Minas Gerais; and the BRs 101, 116, 290 and 386 in Rio Grande do Sul. Also in the concessions list for next year are the North-South Railway, which will go through São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Goiás and Tocantins; the so-called Ferrogrão, which will link the states of Mato Grosso and Pará; and the West-East Integration Railway (Fiol), in Bahia.
For this year, the public notice of the fourth round of auctions of marginal oil and gas fields under the concession program is expected. And next year will see the 14th round of auctions of oil and natural gas exploration blocks under the concession program and the second round of auctions under the production sharing agreement system.
Still in the energy field, the government is planning the sales of assets of the Research and Mineral Resources Company, and the privatizations of the Amazonas Energy Distributor from Boa Vista Energia, the Acre Energy Company, the Alagoas Energy Company, the Piauí Energy Company and the Rondônia Power Plants.
