Honey exports from Brazil totalled US$ 3.2 million in May
It was the best result recorded in the last 31 months. In the accumulated result for the year, foreign sales reached US$ 8.9 million. The results were positive, despite the European embargo on Brazilian honey. The largest market is the United States, but producers are seeking alternatives in Latin America, Africa, and the Arab countries.
