Rio de Janeiro – The Household Consumption Intent went up 0.9% in March in comparison to the same month of 2016. According to the survey conducted by the National Commerce Confederation for Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC) made available this Tuesday (21) in Rio de Janeiro, the index increased 1.4% in comparison to February of this year.
In the comparison to March 2016, there was an increase in three of the seven components of the indicator, with the highlight being the consumption outlook, which went up 13.1%. Also went up the percentage of people that consider the moment to be good to the purchase of durable goods (6.6%) and the assessment on their current job (2.5%).
The career outlook remained stable, but assessments on current income (-3.4%), current consumption level (-4.1%) and purchases in installments (-5.2%) all declined.
