Rio de Janeiro – Consumption Intent by Families climbed 1.1% in March from February in Brazil, to 88 points, the National Confederation of Trade in Goods, Services and Tourism (CNC, in the Portuguese acronym) said. Year-on-year in March, intent was up 12.6%.
Despite the hike, the indicator remains beneath the 100-point threshold (on a 0-200 scale). The CNC said this means families are regaining their optimism slowly.
