São Paulo – IBM announced on Friday (5) the creation of the Global Delivery Centre in Casablanca, Morocco. The centre should supply company technology clients not only in Morocco, but also in the remaining countries that speak French as a second language in Africa.
The site should create up to 400 work posts in the areas of information technology over the next three years. The site will offer services like the development and maintenance of applications and system integration. According to an IBM press statement, the company is working together with the government of Morocco and with local universities so that the centre may stimulate economic activity in the country.
In coming years, according to the statement, the Global Delivery Centre in Morocco should employ people graduated in technology and professionals with IT experience, people graduated in computer science, engineering, mathematics and science. The centre should also offer internships and training programmes to graduates to attract the best technology talent in the region.
