São Paulo – The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will hold a conference and panel on the economic outlook of the Arab countries in the Middle East and North Africa this Wednesday (2) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with the presence of the IMF’s director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department, Jihad Azour (pictured above).
Jihad Azour will hold a press conference at 9:30 am, Dubai time (2:30 am in Brasília) at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), to launch the report
After that, there will be a panel to discuss the outlooks for the region and the report’s main conclusions. Among the panel’s topics are the region’s economic development, the impact of oil’s lower prices and the impact of conflicts on the economies of the MENA (North Africa and the Middle East) countries.
