São Paulo – The Industrial Confidence Index (ICI), measured by Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), dropped 1.5% from November to December. After two months of going up, the index ranged from 85.6 to 84.3. The decline is due to, mainly, the companies’ evaluation over the current scenario. The Present Situation Index (ISA) declined 2.2% and the Expectations Index (IE) dropped 0.9%. The data was gathered with 1,156 companies between December 1st to 19th of this month.
